One of the benefits of playing quick solos high up on the neck on a real guitar comes from the fact that the distance between the frets are a lot shorter up there, the controler could simulate that part of reality by putting the "high frets" half as far appart as the lower frets. Looks like doing those pinky slides on the new fancy buttons will be rather difficult :P The little buttons will definately be way difficult to use.
